 ABOUT THE GEEKS:

There's just something about the old barroom debate. Strangers can become friends, friends can become enemies, and geeks can become podcast hosts.

Andrew and Chase have spent most of their 9 year friendship having casual (and some not-so-casual) debates about an endless list of topics. Even though the pair tend to agree about a lot, one of them always ends up playing the devil's advocate just so they can argue about it. Inevitably, facts are checked, lists are made, wives are temporarily ignored, and no winner is ever declared. Finally realizing a pattern had formed, Andrew suggested that the two take their powers and use them for good.

And so, In2Geek was born.

In the midst of quarantine, Chase and Andrew started rewriting their lists to be more coherent and doing a little bit more research so they could launch their new channel.

Now, their podcast is available on a multitude of different podcast platforms, such as, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, CastBox, RadioPublic, and more. They've even begun filming their recording sessions so they're available on YouTube.

The Geeks are always learning new nerd things and always arguing about them, so stick around, subscribe and share, and watch as they get In2Geek.

MEET ANDREW:

Raised on Saturday mornings full of Fruity Pebbles, Cartoons, and Video Games; I was destined to be a Geek.

From a young age I took to cartoons, comics, and movies more than the next kid, obsessing with characters and stories to the point I thought they were real. When these stories would end, I would make new stories with my toys or by drawing new ones to keep the show/movie going.

This obsession only grew as I got older and learned of games like Magic the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons. With Magic I loved the idea that you had to outwit your opponent by creating a better “deck” than them, and Dungeons and Dragons opened the flood gates of creativity, spending hours creating my own worlds and heroes.

I naturally got a job at the local movie Theater, where I was a film projectionist for almost 5 years. The film critic in me was built here, as I was able to sit and watch hundreds of movies a year, and finally get to really dissect them.

I’m now an aspiring voice over artist hoping to fulfill my dream of voicing a super hero, in hopes to inspire some other kid out there sitting in front of the tv eating cereal.

MEET CHASE:

Hellooooo Geeks! I’m Chase, the boy who never grew up.

I was raised on Zach Morris, Sam Malone, and Beetlejuice. Nowadays it’s Jeremy Jamm, Joffrey Baratheon, and Homelander.

I always appreciate a good villain but you’ll never know what kind of stand I’ll take on any given subject. I’m here to give my opinions on all things comics, movies, TV, and video games and also to keep Andrew in check.

As a bartender, I always have to listen to other people talk. Well, now it’s my turn. I’m not always the best with words but I am passionate and will argue my point of view to the pain. I hope you enjoy the pain and the podcast. Thanks for listening!

MEET ALLISON:

Hello Geeks! I’m Alli, I’m Chase’s wife, and I run the social media accounts for In2Geek! I also sit behind the camera and write things on a whiteboard when the guys forget a name or whatever. (Yes, it’s me that Chase talks to off camera.)

I’m a full blown geek but I cover different topics than Chase and Andrew. I’m the one you want to talk to about Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Supernatural, LOTR, Sherlock, books, crafts, Disney, and definitely a lot more. You might catch me jumping in on the podcast if the topic is right!

But until then, feel free to message me on In2Geek’s Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter if you have a question about the show or anything. Make sure to like, follow, and share our pages and download the latest episode if you’re ready to get In2Geek!
